Project Selection Magazine

Print Journalism! One of the most influential forms of media in the world. Whether it is a magazine, or a nightly news program, the mass public is being consumed by print journalism. Some aspects of print journalism that interest me is having more control in the creative process. This is specifically true when creating a magazine. I have more authority when it comes to the content that is being put on each page. I get to choose the pictures that go on each page, and get to write each article. To me, that is a HUGE positive aspect of picking the magazine project. I saw how true this is in "The Newsroom." Will and his team were able to choose the news stories that they wanted to put on the air. They only chose the stories that were worth airing, and were truly news, and not the fluff that other news networks were publishing. However, the one negative aspect of choosing the magazine is the graphic design that goes into this project. I am not the best with technology and computer and phone editing, and this project takes lots skills to complete well.
