Question 4 How did you incorporate technology in the process?
The technology that I used to take my photos was my iPhone 8 and then for Christmas I got the iPhone XS, so I started using that phones camera instead. The setting I had it on was portrait mode when I was taking portraits of my model in the milk bath. The pictures from the photoshoot of Lily Sikorski/ my model for the featured article I just used the regular setting o my camera since it was more action shots of her playing golf.
The software that I used to make the magazine was publisher for all 4 pages. I found that I was the most user friendly software for me to work with, and still get good results. I am not a very technology oriented person, so the less steps to be able to do something on the computer, the better for me. The functions that I used was being able to put text over pictures. As well as picking from the hundreds of fonts and colors that they have to choose from. Additionally, is very easy to add pictures and place them anywhere on the page. If you were to add a picture on word, you can only place it in the middle of the page. The presentation does not look nice, nor put together. That is one of the things that really made publisher great for me. Then adding the two columns for the featured article made the program additionally great.
